- Why so much inventory of vehicles
on Little Brothers car lot ? This
is an interesting question . Customers may ask for example "why do
you have so many Ford Focus's or Chrysler Sebring's or Olds Alero's or
what ever on the lot . Is every one trying to get rid of those vehicles
." This is really the opposite reason . We try to stay with the most
popular selling vehicles and carry more of those in stock .
When Little
Brothers is a independent car dealer were are not tied into carrying
a certain brand of vehicle . An example of this is a GM franchise
store would want to carry GM product . There used car manager would
not go out and buy a Ford product . A Ford store
would not go out and buy a GM vehicle . The GM store tries to carry
in stock vehicles of there car line .
Little Brothers being independent is not under control by any car
company. Our time is spent not only in selling vehicles but trying
to find good quality vehicles for our customers . With large inventory
we are more able to have not only good selection for our customers
but also we are not so vulnerable to market changes in price at the
auctions . Let me explain this - when in stock 125 + vehicles if we
sold and this has happened 9 vehicles on saturday and we go to the
lease sale to buy more product we are not under pressure to buy and
over pay to get stock as we still have huge inventory back on our car
lot . This allows us time to pick and choose wait for a deal and not
over pay. If the market goes soft then we buy lots . Many times we
have been the top buyer of the week at the auctions in a soft market
. Any one could just go to the auction and stand there and buy a vehicle
but it is a smart buyer that waits for the deals for the consumer to
get them a good price . |
